FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the address?

The Temporary Art Center is in the Conklin Metal Building located at 236 Moore Street SE, Atlanta GA 30312.  Please note that Moore Street is a dead end side street. The building appears to front along Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive

Please use the street address to find us on Google Maps. It’s an industrial building located next to Nick’s to Go at the corner of MLK and Hill Street. (Googling Conklin Metal will take you to offices downtown or in Norcross. Don’t go there.)

Is there parking?

There is limited parking in the building’s surface lot. There is some street parking on surrounding streets. Please look carefully for any no parking signs before you park.

We highly encourage taking Marta as well. We are an 11-minute walk from King Memorial Marta station.

Is there food and drink for sale?

Nope.

Are there bathrooms?

Yes.

Is the building accessible for wheelchairs?

Yes, there is a ramp to access the building and a bathroom stall that can accommodate wheelchairs. However, our building is an older industrial site that is not necessarily up to current ADA standards throughout. Please email whitney@temporaryartcenter.com if you have questions or need to make additional accommodations for your visit.

Is the exhibit family friendly?

Children are welcome and we love them. Keep in mind that it is a former industrial site and you will need to keep a close watch on kids.

Can I take pictures?

Sure! If you’re posting to social media, tag us and let the world know. @temporaryartcenter #TACProject #temporaryartcenter

Is the work for sale?

Some of it is. Please reach out to whitney@temporaryartcenter.com and we’ll connect you to the right people to inquire about pieces.

You can also look for volunteers who can connect you with the right people.

What else should I know?

Baby, it’s cold in here. There’s no heat, so dress for winter temps and wear comfortable shoes.
